About this course

Explore a playful range of folded book structures, often based on a single sheet of paper, as you learn a range of simple binding skills.

Course Description

Learn bookbinding skills such as folding, tearing and cutting paper. You should produce several book structures, which have the potential to become artists’ books. The structures are all based on the concertina format, which is ideal for exhibition display. This approach will free up your creative potential and develop understanding of the materials and processes for further books.

Tracey Bush has made artists’ books for the past two decades and is an experienced tutor with lots of skills and techniques to share.
