Describe your approach to teaching
I support experiential learning, sharing techniques and inspirations to encourage process. That way the student can develop work that explores their own interests, embracing discoveries and ‘happy accidents’ along the way.

What inspires your work?
Walking, collaborative approaches, improvisation and constraint are inspiring processes for me. The shifting chalk environments of Sussex Downland, hawthorn, lichen, found text, personal story, stains and traces of actions and objects.
