Summary

Boro is the Japanese word for rags or tatters. Taking inspiration from the tutor's collection of these sort after Japanese patched textiles, learn how to design and make a Boro-style patchwork cushion, wall-hanging or throw. Using a combination of new and recycled fabrics, hand-stitch your own design using darned and patching techniques, with simple Japanese Sashiko quilting to add strength and texture.
