Art textiles

Drawing in space – using graphic and textile media with Michael Brennand-Wood

Ref: S4D08533

About this course

Two questions are at the heart of this course, what we draw and how we draw it? Experiment with the generation of imagery using found materials, personal objects and light projection. Develop your initial drawings on paper and acetate film via a series of experimental processes that explore line in both two- and three- dimensional contexts. Create a personal image and explore mark-making, drawing and stitching in space with graphic media and thread.
