Pictorial rag rug techniques with Lynne Stein

Taking inspiration from flora and fauna themes, develop ways to translate images into highly colourful, richly textured and patterned surfaces, creating a small pictorial textile. Traditional and experimental techniques and rag rug tools will be explored with recycled fabrics and threads.


Lynne Stein

Lynne is a tutor with 25 years' experience of conducting workshops and projects in schools, further and adult education, and within museums and galleries.

She is a member of The Textile Society and the International Feltmakers Association, and is author of Rag Rug Creations, published by Bloomsbury.
