About this course

Make a beautiful copperfoiled glass holly wreath using coloured glass and glass nuggets, to decorate your home for Christmas.

Course Description

This course is suitable for those who have had some recent previous experience of glass cutting or have taken a related course such as one of the Taster Days, copperfoiled glass stars or Christmas decorations day courses. Please note: You will spend most of the day standing up and may find it physically tiring.


Timetable for one day courses

Students should arrive by 9am for registration.

Classes are from 9.15 - 5pm

Lunch is included.

Course Materials


  • The course fee includes the cost of the materials required for the course.

What students need to bring

  • An apron or other overall/old clothes and sturdy footwear, that covers the foot (essential).
Please note: If you are pregnant or breast feeding, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with lead and solder can be harmful to the developing baby. You must not wear open shoes or have bare legs (even if the weather is warm) in the workshop. Do not wear loose clothing or dangly jewellery as it may get caught in machinery. Long hair must be tied back.


Carole Gray

Carole Gray trained in three-dimensional design at Middlesex University. She is a member of the Contemporary Glass Society and the British Society of Master Glass Painters.
