About this course

Learn how to make an elegant pendant inspired by autumn leaves, by impressing the delicate tracery of veins onto silver sheet.

Course Description

On this one day course learn to make an elegant silver pendant using autumn leaves as an inspirational starting point. You will be using leaf skeletons to impress into sheet silver leaving the delicate tracery of the veins of the leaf as a surface pattern on the precious metal. You will then learn to saw pierce the shape of the leaf and file the edges smooth, and then to shape and polish it and finally to oxidise it to make the leaf vein pattern stand out clearly on the silver.
