About this course

Spend the day creating a beautiful, multi layered silver pendant. Explore textures and shape to build your design before attaching a chain and leaving with your unique and beautiful necklace.

Course Description

After an introductory talk and display of examples you will get to explore and create samples of textures and shapes. You will utilise both sheet and wire to realise your ideas using a number of jewellery making techniques.

You may choose to make a personal pendant with imagery and shapes based around a theme, or perhaps you’ll just use shapes and forms you are drawn to. We will then discuss the various ways you can layer your design to create a pleasing pendant. This will lead on to working in silver and you will complete your piece, finally adding a chain so you walk away at the end of the day with a necklace to cherish and wear for years to come.

We will not be covering stone setting within this 1 day class, please sign up to a specific stone setting course if you would like to work with gems.
