About this course

Learn basic enamelling techniques and make a pair of simple drop earrings.

Course Description

Following a demonstration of basic enamelling techniques covering wet laying of enamel, mixing and blending colours, firing, and finishing the enamel surface, we will create a pair of simple round shaped earrings or pendant. Students can choose to texture the surface of the silver blanks using punches or etching to add depth and interest to the enamel and select a variety of colours to fire over these textures to produce their own individual finished piece.
