The natural world is a constant inspiration to sue Mundy. She combines the gentleness of undulating landscapes, the turmoil of the sea and the soft sensuality of the human form in her work. She uses a variety of traditional hand building techniques to create contemporary sculptural forms for the home and garden.
Tamar's porcelain is born of a fascination with dramatic forms. She is especially drawn to skylines and city scapes where horizons and silhouettes present domes, minarets and towers. Similarly the drama of natural objects such as shells and animal skulls inspire me to make and record a moment in time. Tamar's work in porcelain paper clay, using a combination of hand building techniques-rolling, impressing, sprigging and moulding.
Tanja's work focuses on individual silver and gold pieces with a wide range of unusual gemstones, such as rough diamonds, opals and mineralised quartzes. The often structural and heavy rings are lightened by the vibrant colour of the gemstones and the fine gold Kumboo (a Korean gold fusing technique) on the edges. The recent series of brooches contrasts vintage pieces and found objects with fine gemstones. She exhibits worldwide, including the New York Now Fair, Goldsmiths Fair London, Inhorgenta Munich and many European Countries.
Jane Tattersfield was an established book illustrator for many years. In 2013 she set up 'Tattersfield Designs' where she creates greetings cards, cushions, prints and scarves using images taken from her original oil paintings. Jane makes her cushions by hand using fabric printed with her illustrations. All her products are highly colourful and intricately decorative, with influences from India, South America, textile, folk and ancient art.
A theme of nostalgia and functionality runs through Teresa's work, a practical range of interior and fashion accessories. Collections of vintage kitchen objects, tools, haberdashery and scenes of everyday whimsy inspire her designs, Teresa is an avid collector and scours flee markets whenever possible. Taking an essence of these objects, illustrated in a simple linear manner and allowing the designs to sit in harmony with the objects they adorn, so that the design has a little 'breathing space'. The love of the traditional is portrayed throughout, natural unbleached linens to work upon and hand silk screening each print. She enjoys the uniqueness and error that hand registered printing gives.
