Contemporary tableware and servingware thrown in white stoneware. Designs are inspired by family traditions. They utilise the clean-lined clarity of articulated forms and the subtle richness of a carefully selected glaze palette to create pieces that frame any meal. The work is part-glazed in monochrome plus seasonal accent colours to give a quiet but powerful presence. Their use brings awareness to each moment and enriches the experience of daily life.

Julian makes jewellery in precious metal, shaped to create bold fluid lines and defined profiles. Many of his designs tell a story and involve humour. Detailed castings add character while unusual textures and hammered effects give surfaces dimension and depth. Julian uses gem stones to highlight a contour or accentuate a feature. Each item is individually made using traditional techniques and he aims to give every piece it's own particular personality.
