Current artist-in-residence, Robert Phillips, will discuss the role of utopias and failure within his practice. Referencing Edward James's 'Surreal Eden' Las Pozas and his interior explorations at Monkton House, Phillips will use the residency to further his interest into surrealist architecture and to find out more about the Utopian vision that Edward James had for West Dean.
