The College's Creative Writing department invites you to a new series of Literary Salons for 2017, featuring talks and interviews, readings and Q&A with an exciting line-up of authors. The evening events will be held in the richly atmospheric Oak Hall at the College.


  • 7.30pm start time
  • Until 8pm music by students
  • 8pm - 9pm author talk, followed by Q&A
  • 9pm - 9.30pm book signing


10 January - Simon Brett, OBE

14 February - Melissa Benn - will be 'interviewed' by Lesley Thomson or Domenica de Rosa, both Associate tutors on the MA Creative Writing and Publishing.

21 March - Stephen May and Martine McDonagh in discussion on the subject 'The Family is a Loaded Gun' in fiction.

18 April - Joanna Moorhead, award-winning freelance journalist talking about her new biography of Leonora Carrington.

Book all four salons in advance for £15, individual tickets are £5 each.
