Philippa Boot

Philippa was born in the North West of England, moving away to read Biochemistry at Oxford University. She spent more than two decades with Unilever, living and working in a number of European countries and managing teams and projects across the globe.

In 2011, Philippa graduated with an Honours Diploma in Garden Design from the renowned KLC School of Design, winning prizes for design and horticulture.

Her garden design portfolio covers a mix of clients including domestic, commercial and communal spaces, and she has extensive experience in project management in small and large-scale projects.

Philippa also holds the RHS Diploma in Principles and Practices of Horticulture, passed with Commendation and has a wide practical gardening and horticultural knowledge gained from work at Hampton Court Palace and private clients.

Philippa is Senior Designer at award-winning landscape design studio Ruth Willmott Associates and has been on the team since 2014. She worked on Chelsea Flower Show 2015 and 2017 gardens and the gold medal winning 2022 garden for Morris & Co.

Philippa loves experimenting with plants and aims to try out a few new plants in her garden every year. Her other interests include butterflies and moths and working with glass.
