Mirjam Gielen

Mirjam Gielen is a textile artist with a focus on organic embroidery. She learned her textile skills mainly from her mother and other family members. She has been creating tutorials and online workshops for several years now and shares her work online on social media and Patreon, a creator platform.

I aim to inspire students to explore without restraint and develop their personal style of embroidery.

What inspires your own work?
My work is inspired by nature. Expressing what I experience in nature in textile art, strengthens my connection with nature and therefore with myself.
