Francesca Herrick

Francesca Herrick is the module leader in Historical and Critical studies at the KLC School of Design.

Originally trained as an art historian, she has enjoyed crossing over to the field of design history in order to develop syllabuses that help students to make connections between past and present practice. She brings experience from having previously worked as a specialist at the British Antique Dealers Association (BADA) and a cultural events organiser at the Royal Academy of Arts.

Outside of her KLC role, Francesca leads workshops and study days at The Courtauld for young people, adults and community groups.

When time allows, she delivers bespoke craft workshops for heritage organisations, such as the London Transport Museum and the Georgian Group.

Francesca is also teaching short courses at the West Dean London Bloomsbury campus. (Please see the link in the Short Courses toolbar on the website)
