David Snoo Wilson

Snoo has taught widely across universities in the UK and Europe with over 15 years of experience in teaching foundry. Working at The Royal College of Art Foundry and running casting units in degree and masters level courses in Estonia, Lithuania and Sweden. He has worked in the British Museum, along with a bell in Kensington Palace given to the King of England.


Describe your approach to teaching
My approach is direct and hands-on. I believe in empowering people through the process of foundry and allowing them contact with the alchemical process. 

What inspires your own work? 
My work is inspired by chance, intellect, nature and the feeling of the uncanny.
