Arit Anderson
Arit Anderson studied Garden Design at Capel Manor College and is a chartered member of the Landscape Institute. She’s a broadcaster and writer appearing regularly on BBC Gardeners World. Her book The Essential Tree Selection Guide, is co-authored with Dr Henrik Sjoman. Arit is co-founder of The Sustainable Landscape Foundation.
Describe your approach to teaching
My approach to teaching is to follow a principle of “did you know?” to ensure that imparted knowledge is as an invitation to learn by enquiry and openness.
What inspires your own work?
My own work is inspired by the ability of natural process to change and heal. I love endeavour and how this expresses itself in the landscape and people.
