Studio III is a boutique London-based interior design studio founded by passionate, creative and experienced entrepreneurs – Sandra Baldwin, Laura Hunter and Abby Laybourne. All three co-founders studied the Diploma HE Applied Interior Design course at KLC School of Design.

The belief that "our surroundings should enrich lives and enhance wellbeing” is Studio III’s underlying business philosophy. They balance function and aesthetic, place and personality, which is intrinsic to their human-centred design. With this as their core belief, they transform spaces into inspirational places.

Studio III describe their approach as “firstly, listening carefully to our client’s stories, and then, translating them into personal visual narratives. For us, it’s about understanding how people experience a place. That’s different for everyone. And it’s why we don’t have a particular ‘house style.’ Put simply. We listen, collaborate and create."

Approachable with curious mindsets, Studio III bring a unique combination of skills to the design field. Born from a wealth of diverse life experiences and industry knowledge – from finance to hospitality, logistics to the creative arts.

Their latest development and refurbishment, as seen in ‘The Sunday Times Property section’, was a large, grand Victorian Villa in one of the most prestigious boulevards in Barnes. Studio III was responsible for all FF&E design, wall and ceiling finishes, drapery and upholstery, and all bathroom finishes. The design goal was to create a luxurious, classic, yet contemporary style in keeping with the period of the house and suitable for future on-sell.
