Residential accommodation for short courses

For courses of more than one day

Choose to stay in a traditional or modern room and wake up to the characterful charm of this period property set in acres of parkland. Rooms are in the main house. During Easter and the summer accommodation is also available in Ivy Cottage, Foresters Cottage and the elegant Old Vicarage.  At the end of each day relax with new friends and a glass of wine in the Steward's Bar, or curl up with a book in the historic Oak Hall.

You are welcome to bring a guest, sharing your room on a resident only basis, even if they don't want to book on a course. Please refer to the Accommodation Fees for current prices.

Dine with us

Start the day with a traditional English or continental breakfast in the airy dining room. For lunch and dinner, you will find a tempting new menu each day, with seasonal hot dishes, salads and a range of puddings. Locally sourced ingredients are used where possible including produce grown in West Dean Gardens.

Dinner on the first night and lunch throughout your course is included in your course price. If you are residential and staying with us breakfast and dinner are also included for the duration of your stay.

Student Pods

New Student Pods are available at a reduced rate of £50 per night for dinner, bed & breakfast, for a single room with an en-suite shower and toilet. Each pod includes a desk and chair, wardrobe space, its own secure locking door and window, and individual thermostatic temperature control, there is no WIFI available in the pods but the communal areas in the main college building can be used.  A safe, warm, affordable sleeping option on campus.

Resident only non-students

A rate of £82.80 (incl. VAT) per night for dinner, bed and breakfast is payable by a guest sharing a standard room with a paying student and £96.00 (incl. VAT) per night dinner, bed and breakfast if sharing a superior room with a paying student. Lunch, if required, can be booked in advance or at Reception on arrival.

Course deposits (postal bookings only)

Per person per course. More than six weeks prior to the course, a deposit of £130 secures a place (or the full course fee of £130 or less).

Any balance is payable six weeks prior to the start of the course.
