Reinstalling the Hatfield House Clock

The final stages of the Hatfield House Clock treatment was carried out last week and it has now been returned to the stately home in Hatfield. Metals graduate student John Shield and I completed the reassembly before handing over to Kenneth Cobb, Clocks postgraduate student, and Clocks tutor Matthew Read to fit and tweak the mechanism. This has been a thoroughly enjoyable project and I want to thank those who have been involved in the treatment of the object.
