Visual Arts student Margaret Jones has recently had a piece of work accepted into 'Scythia 10' an International Biennial Symposium Conference and Exhibition on Textile Art.
The work of 55 international textile artists has been selected by jury to be shown in the Ukraine from 18th to 22nd June, 2014. In addition to the exhibition there is an International Conference discussing contemporary textiles, a wearable art show and a series of master classes in various disciplines.
Margaret's piece, 'Gwendoline', was shown at West Dean and London's Free Range in July 2013 as part of her Summer Shows. The tapestry is handwoven, approximately 98cms x 70cms, and took about 3 months to weave.

Postgraduate student Jane Fremantle is to be included in a photography exhibition at the Spring Arts & Heritage Centre in Havant, Hampshire, which runs from 24 March to Saturday 14 June.
