Anni Onsager: volunteer at CASS Sculpture Foundation

Throughout the year MA student Anni Onsager has been volunteering at the CASS Sculpture Foundation, an independent commissioning body dedicated to commissioning new work from emerging and established artists such as Tony Cragg, Antony Gormley, Awst and Walther, Eduardo Paolozzi and Bill Woodrow. Volunteering has enabled Anni to keep up to date with the latest sculptural practices and the inclusion of this association with a major charitable sculpture Foundation in Britain will be a valuable contribution to her CV.

Anni also conducted a guided tour for her colleagues in the Visual Arts department, moving through the extensive grounds of the Foundation to discuss individual pieces that she had selected. The above image above shows Folly by Sean Henry and demonstrates another instance when visitors could not resist the temptation to lie beside the man sleeping in the bed.
