Press Release: Looking forward to summer? Visual arts and craft Summer Schools at West Dean College

If you are looking forward to summer why not try something new in 2016 and book early online from this week for a creative break. Summer Schools at West Dean College are a creative and social highlight of the year. Relax with tutors and other students and exchange ideas, insights and experiences. Whether you want a creative holiday, time to immerse yourself in your craft or to learn a new skill, come to West Dean for an alternative summer break. Summer Schools are a little different to courses at other times of the year, with the extended week allowing time for students to experience a broader range of creative insights and time to develop new skills in depth with expert tutors.

During the week students can enjoy short inspirational talks by tutors and displays of their work, swap-over sessions to another course of choice, an afternoon of organised visits to local art venues, an optional evening at the Chichester Festival Theatre (to be prebooked), a Summer School party with dinner, entertainment and music, workshop displays of students' work and informal end-of-course group reviews. Course attendees during 5-7 August can also enjoy the award-winning Chilli Fiesta which takes place in the grounds.

This is just a sample of what is on offer at West Dean College. Whatever your interest there is something new for you to try and expert tutors to support your creative development.
