Bernadette Hehenberger
Austrian Shoe designer Bernadette Hehenberger set up her own shoe label Craftwerk in 2009, after designing several years for the global Footwear brand Clarks Originals. In contrast to her first important working experiences in places like London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong, China and Italy, she later designed for a small solitary shoe manufacturer, tucked away in the forests of her home country. With the social shoe label Craftwerk, she promotes a conscious and sustainable lifestyle and is continuously invited to tutor at Schools and Universities as well as green fairs and festivals.
