This one-day course gives you the opportunity to make a traditional stained glass flower panel. The panel is 19 x 24cm and there will be a choice of colours for the flower in the panel.
On this practical course, you will learn the basic construction processes of cutting glass, putting a panel together with lead, soldering, cementing and finishing. All the materials needed to create your stained glass piece are supplied. Due to time constraints, you will not be able to design your own patterns.
Please be aware that most of the work is done standing up.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with lead and solder can be harmful to the developing baby.
Timetable for one day courses
Students should arrive by 9am for registration.
