Describe your approach to teaching:

By giving clear demonstrations of the techniques used, encouragement and individual support, I help students to learn through hands on practical experience; so that they gain confidence in the new skills they are developing.

What inspires your own work?

Architecture, design and crafts in other materials, the natural world, indigenous tools and objects.
