Describe your approach to teaching:

I aim to bring out the best of every student, to always encourage and to lead by example, to combine tradition and innovation, to promote experimentation, and to put aside pre-conceptions.

What inspires your own work?

Inspiration comes from the detail, beauty and values set by the natural world, and the poetry of Wallace Stevens and Gerard Manley Hopkins.
