Stefano Santilli

Stefano is an award-winning lecturer at the University of Brighton, with experience of running public engagement workshops for the Crafts Council and the British Council. He has taught and exhibited furniture work internationally, currently exploring the vessel form using diverse materials along with analogue and digital techniques of making.

Stefano is also teaching short courses at the West Dean London Bloomsbury campus. (Please see the link in the Short Courses toolbar on the website)

Describe your approach to teaching
We are all teachers and learners, so I consider the workshops as an activity for mutual benefit – curious about how we can all develop our skills in the process!

What inspires your own work? 
Like many others, I feel compelled to make. It doesn’t occur to me to do otherwise.
