Rosie Yeomans

Rosie has been teaching horticulture for many years and works freelance writing for Gardeners' World Magasine, is a guest panellist on BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time and a regular on the BBC Radio Solent 'The Good Life Programme'. Rosie is a keen allotment gardener and a National Collection Coordinator for the conservation charity Plant Heritage.

My teaching using a combination of images in the classroom, practical demonstrations on the allotment plot and a review of seasonal crops in the main walled garden.

There is something deeply satisfying about growing plants and this inspires me to garden as a hobby as well as a job. Even better is growing and cooking the freshest crops straight from the garden.
