Ria Marshall

Rhiannon came to gardening with the desire to live an outdoor life. She has developed her skills in horticulture by working at a variety of farms and gardens and through studying at the Bristol Botanical Garden for RHS level 3. Rhiannon has run a market garden supplying the restaurants of Bristol and using the garden as a teaching space for all ages to learn about regenerative gardening and vegetable production.

Describe your approach to teaching
My approach to teaching is informative and inquisitive, creating an informal teaching
the environment with a hands-on approach to learning.

What inspires your own work?
My inspiration comes from a drive to create beautiful, nature promoting and productive
landscapes. Inspired by the beauty found in the wildest of landscapes and the creativity of spaces
which are manipulated by the artistry of gardeners.
