Rachel Sim is a printmaker and illustrator who exhibits work
throughout the UK.
After training at Edinburgh School of Art and the Royal College
of Art she now works from her studio in Yorkshire and runs
workshops with organisations such as The Hepworth, Yorkshire
Sculpture Park and Art in Action.
I believe in a hands-on approach to teaching, demonstrating
printmaking and drawing methods and allowing students to experiment
themselves with materials, techniques, tools and colours.
Printmaking is highly individual and exciting way of work with
many possibilities.
My work is inspired by travel, cities and architecture alongside
looking at the textures, patterns and colours of everyday life. I
enjoy drawing and experimenting with different printmaking
techniques.
