Patricia completed an MA in Fine Art at University of Central England in 1994. She has exhibited at The Discerning Eye and the Royal Society of British Artists. She is a member of Chelsea Art Society and in 2020 was awarded the Sloane Stanley medal. Patricia has been teaching sculpture, both modelling and carving since 1991.
Approach to teaching
I hope to inspire a love of sculpture and to help students find their own individual means of expression.
What inspires your own work
I’m drawn to the figure and I find that stone carving allows a more intuitive approach. I would like my work to convey feeling and presence.
