Mark Cazalet

Mark has enjoyed an eclectic art training across a broad range of range of media and making processes.

He is particularly interested in colour and mark-making which he explored in glass, textile, printed books, murals mosaic and various printmaking techniques.

After graduating from Falmouth School of Art he held two postgraduate scholarships in Paris and Gujerat India., these experiences convinced him that we are in an exceptional moment of being able to see the relevance of past cultural traditions in our contemporary practices.

Mark is a Senior Faculty Member of The Royal Drawing School in London.

"I believe that all people have a distinct creative voice which is unrecognised and undervalued, my aim is to involve each student in a process of radical self-discovery. The tutor's role is to ask the right questions and provide different approaches and media to enable this to happen.”
