Kevin Hughes

Kevin Hughes originally trained in ecology before his passion for plants and gardening took over. Kevin spent seven years as head gardener at Spinners Garden and Nursery. He now has his own nursery, Kevin Hughes Plants, at Heale House near Salisbury where he specialises in unusual trees and shrubs, especially magnolias, hardy plants, climbers and trilliums.

Kevin, RHS gold medal winner, has served on various RHS committees and has contributed to local radio gardening programmes. Kevin lectures on a wide range of horticultural subjects at home and abroad and is a practicing garden designer, specialising in wildlife friendly gardens, one of these designs was featured on BBC Gardeners World.
