How would you describe your approach to
teaching?
Everyone is a maker and should have the opportunity to have a go
and enjoy the benefits of crafts. There is no right or wrong way to
do things - though occasionally we invent new stitches - each
person finds their own way to create successfully.
What inspires your own work?
I am fascinated by the history of knitting and crochet and while
researching articles like to learn about the techniques involved,
so when writing about the renaissance of Irish Crochet Lace for
Rowan I couldn't resist having a go.
