Julia Foster

Julia developed the Preservation Assessment Survey from a recommendation in a research paper, to a fully functioning survey tool with supporting guidance. Between 1998 and 2014 in her role at the Preservation Advisory Centre she worked with a range of library and archive organisations across the UK and internationally to complete more than 300 surveys. Since 2014 she has provided a freelance service providing surveys, condition assessments and stocktaking activities.
