Jessica Jue
Jessica Jue trained at Edinburgh College of Art and Bishopsland Educational Trust. She has won several awards at the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council Awards and is represented in major collections including National Museums Scotland and the Goldsmiths' Company. Jessica has taught the Graduate programme at West Dean College and postgraduates at Bishopsland.
Approach to teaching
My approach to teaching is quite fluid. I really enjoy teaching the practical skills I know in order to encourage students to have a go and develop their own ideas.
What inspires my own work
I am inspired by balance and harmony and organic forms. These are very much influenced by my Chinese heritage and Austrian upbringing, in which fluid and bold designs are created.
