How would you describe your approach to teaching?

"It is wonderful when people succeed in their endeavours and I aim to give students the skills and knowledge to achieve their vision with confidence. Examination of traditional and contemporary pieces, demonstrations, challenges, attention to those details that make a real difference and troubleshooting are just some of the teaching methods I use."

What inspires your own work?

"The exploration of shibori techniques, gaining insight through tradition and invention. Geometry, observation of the natural world. Allowing myself time to simply be inspired, and the working process itself."
