Iksung Nah is from Korea. He was born in Seoul where he lived
until his early twenties. Since then he has lived in the UK, mainly
in London and Surrey but more recently in Gloucestershire. His
photography focuses on landscapes and capturing light. His
commercial images have been in publications such as magazines,
calendars, newspapers, textbooks, travel books and brochures. His
personal project is to photograph urban and rural landscapes
whereby factors combine to create the potential for a great image;
the most important being light.
He approaches teaching through discussion, questions and image
analysis, to engage with the world of digital black-and-white
photography.
