Heike Roesel

Heike trained at Camberwell College and the University of Brighton and has since worked in several printmaking workshops, mainly teaching etching. From 2009 onwards Heike developed her own process of acrylic resist etching methods, which she has since been teaching from her studio in Brighton.

"I find teaching to be a very inspiring activity. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with like minded creative people and discovering their individual interpretation of the processes."

"My etchings could be described as semi-abstract imaginative worlds. Colour is very important and my aim is to inspire the viewer's imagination to find their own narrative in my work."
