Describe your approach to teaching:
I believe in experiential learning and thinking through making. Working with materials through the hands engages our intuitive learning styles. Working in this way is more impactful carrying a deeper resonance.
What inspires your own work?
My own work comes from the rich heritage of Silversmithing skills. A sense of place and process underpins my practice and the pieces I produce. Understanding materials; colours, weight, malleability and hardness are just some of the elements that contribute to my final outputs.
