Emily Peacock is a contemporary needlework designer known for
her vibrant and edgy designs that most typically mix her love of
colour and typography - a nod to her background in graphic design.
She is one of the leading names in the resurgance of popular
crafts. Her needlepoint kits are sold through her website, in
Liberty of London, the Tate gallery and other independent shops
around the world. Emily has collaborated with Rob Ryan and designed
for the charity Fine Cell Work. In 2010 she appeared on Channel 4's
Kirstie's Homemade Home and in the same year published her first
book, 'Adventures in Needlework'. She runs workshops in embroidery
and needlepoint around the country, including at the Victoria &
Albert Museum, Charleston House, and for the National Trust. She
has also mentored students workig on commercial projects at the
Royal School of Needlework.
