Chunghie Lee

Chunghie Lee, an internationally renowned fiber artist and lecturer, as a Fulbright Scholar to Rhode Island School of Design in 1994 and has been teaching Bojagi & Beyond since 1999. She was an invited artist/designer for the 'Fashion in Motion' program at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, in 2001.

The V & A museum also holds her pieces in their permanent collection among many other museums. Lee's work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in Korea, USA, England, France, Australia, and Germany among other countries. Lee works as independent curator as well.

Chunghie approach to teaching Bojogi is to teach an appreciation of its history, usage and its role in Korean society, alongside the making, while applying the technique to modern interpretation.
