Barbara Gunter-Jones is a textile artist with a special interest
in experimental photographic techniques on fabric.
Barbara created print designs for fashion and interior companies before setting up her own studio.
She also works for the Crafts Council managing contemporary craft projects in the UK, Japan, USA and UAE.
Describe your approach to teaching?
I like to encourage students to use lots of different techniques to create something personal and unexpected.
What inspires your own work?
I enjoy creating mini landscapes by combining natural elements with texture layers, stitch and graphic patterns.
