Alison Evans
Alison has an international reputation for her distinctive contemporary jewellery based on the ancient techniques of chainmail. Her work explores the contrast between the natural environment and the manmade and industrial world, to produce a unique style.
She trained at Portsmouth and exhibits regularly at Goldsmiths' Fair, London and NY NOW, New York. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh and features in shops and Galleries within the U.K., U.S.A., Japan and France.
My approach to teaching is to keep it fun whilst getting the student to totally understand the material they are working with to achieve their goals.
