Kite-making with natural materials – a bee swarm with John Browning

Ref: SWE07792

Explore basic principles of kite-making and learn to use natural materials - cane, bamboo and paper - to make at least five small bees. Each one is a small kite and together, they fly as a swarm. The whole process aims to encourage you to explore these techniques for further kite-making techniques.

John Browning

John Browning has made and flown kites for about 50 years. More recently, he has concentrated on using natural plant materials to make his kites as objects of art. He has exhibited his kites at shared international and solo exhibitions, and gives informative illustrated lectures.
