About this course

Learn two delightful Japanese hand stitched textile techniques: Atarashii - making versatile quilt-as-you-go patchwork units, which can be turned into a variety of useful items; and Sashiko - a quilting technique traditionally stitched in white thread on indigo coloured fabric. You are shown traditional examples and then contemporary ways of using the techniques.
