Summary

The aim of this course is to encourage you to challenge the traditional approach to weaving and to introduce the creative potential of three-dimensional tapestry weaving. Experiment with a range of techniques which play with the structure of the tapestry creating slits and holes, pulling and distorting both warp and weft, adding extra warps, weaving shaped tapestry or creating a tapestry vessel.
