Explore the unique visual qualities of handmade felt in two-dimensions. Start with some simple mark-making exercises, translating them into the felting process. Then develop your colour observation and ideas exploiting the inherent physical properties of three-dimensional felt.


Heather Belcher

Heather Belcher is an artist specialising in hand made felting processes. She exhibits and teaches nationally and internationally and is represented by the Contemporary Applied Arts Gallery in London. She has work in a number of public collections including the Crafts Council and Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery.
